About the RoleWe are seeking a Banking Consultant to join our team in Brisbane. As a Banking Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their financial needs and provide solutions that meet those needs. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling everyday banking enquiries, and contributing to maintaining a balanced team culture.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent customer service by providing efficient solutions and responses to customer enquiries
- Handle everyday banking enquiries, account openings, and processes via telephone
- Listen actively, build trust, and ask relevant questions to exceed customer expectations and improve outcomes
- Contribute to maintaining a balanced team culture that prioritises people, customers, risk, and performance
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service with demonstrated experience in customer service roles
- Proficiency in using computer systems and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Strong verbal communication skills to listen, build rapport, and convey complex information effectively
- High level of resilience, empathy, and adaptability to handle various customer situations
- Commitment to self-development and eagerness to enhance skills and capabilities in the role
- Ability to work collaboratively as a supportive team member
