Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will lead social editorial planning and publishing, 1:1 community engagement, and develop innovative ways to activate fans, influencers, and events on social media.
You will plan and create social content strategies and editorial calendars, collaborating closely with our global teams in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, and Melbourne, to design concepts and briefs that deliver engaging activations and social assets. You will assist with amplifying our work in social media, including strategic planning around formats and objectives, and implementation.
Beyond day-to-day accounts, you will have the opportunity to work on new business and projects, advise on the latest social media trends and tools, be a go-to expert for social knowledge, and contribute to industry reports.
Across the 1000heads Group, there are numerous social specialists, and you will foster mutually beneficial relationships and share learning about the latest tech, campaigns, and trends.
Responsibilities
- Creative copywriting and social publishing
- Driving conversations and building relationships with a brand's audience
- Managing daily editorial, creative, and strategic plans
- Building strong client relationships and identifying business opportunities
- Offering strategic thinking, creative ideas, and commercial understanding to develop plans
- Staying up-to-date on the latest social media tools, platforms, and trends – and driving innovation and experimentation
- Providing weekly social updates to the internal team
- Delivering relevant reports, performance tracking, and trend analysis to clients
- Understanding of social media's impact on brands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An eye for creative content: both written and visual
- The ability to think:
- Creatively (thinking differently and disruptively)
- Strategically (analyzing situations and seeing the big picture)
- Intelligently (critical thinking that identifies gaps and fills them)
- Excellent organizational management, time management, and team management skills
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
