What does the job look like?

Based at our Head office, the Fleet Controller will be accountable for the safe and cost-effective control of all "on-road" activities for our operations Nationally. Oversee the daily operations of all fleet staff, working closely with Branch operations to ensure exceptional customer service and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Areas Include

  • Contribute to meeting and exceeding customer SLA and operational KPI
  • Provide feedback to the greater business that will lead to improved operational and financial performance
  • Contribute to achieving cost effective operational excellence
  • Coordinate daily activities of "on-road" employees
  • Attend to fleet-related queries, escalations, issues Nationally and communicate with relevant Branches and customers
  • Build strong relationships with customers and drivers to ensure smooth operations and high service level

You Have a Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Perform Effectively Under High Pressure, Maintaining Focus While Dealing With Conflicting Priorities And Can Demonstrate
  • Ability to optimize fleet operations for maximum efficiency and performance
  • An understanding of generic fleet management systems
  • Understanding of technical and maintenance aspects of vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to analyse and report data trends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders on procurement needs
