The Opportunity

We seek an Electrical Engineering Instrumentation & Control Project Engineer to join our team in Wollongong.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage I&C project aspects from design to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  2. Develop I&C strategies for new and existing facilities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Oversee I&C system calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest I&C technologies and advancements.
  6. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the I&C department.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in I&C design, implementation, and maintenance in a heavy industry setting.
  3. Proven track record of managing I&C projects from start to finish.
  4. Strong understanding of electrical control systems, instrumentation types, and communication protocols.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong focus on safety and adherence to industry regulations.
