Overview

Floor Manager - Pitt Street at SEPHORA. This is a Full-Time role within the Management team at the Pitt Street Mall store. You will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in leading the store team to deliver an unbeatable client experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Be the role model to your team by showcasing the Sephora experience and delivering a curated, innovative prestige beauty experience.
  • Drive a selling culture to exceed KPI targets and raise the performance and capability of the team through coaching and development.
  • Utilise and interpret reporting data to support operational decisions, working with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Senior Beauty Advisors.
  • Facilitate open communication with the team by providing effective feedback and consistent communication with the Management team.
  • Serve as the Manager in Charge (MIC) for client and cast member matters within a fast-paced environment, making store decisions confidently.

You will have the opportunity to work across categories (beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness) and store functions (sales, management, back-of-house operations).

Development and Training

You will be equipped with onboarding and ongoing learning through Sephora's online platform and field trainers, supporting client discovery of Sephora's offerings. By being part of Sephora and the LVMH group, career growth opportunities are extensive.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Open to a rotating roster to support store needs.
  • Previous retail management experience in areas such as profit and loss, sales forecasting, people management and training, stock control, and visual merchandising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to interpret and input data for daily reporting.
  • Hands-on leader who motivates, coaches, and helps store team members succeed on the sales floor.
  • Passion for excellent client service and experiential retail to represent the Sephora brand.
  • A positive culture focus where everyone is valued, recognized, and enabled to succeed through feedback, coaching, learning and recognition.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and KPI performance.
  • Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only.

Note: The busiest trading days are Thursday to Sunday; the ideal candidate should be able to provide 5 full days of availability including late-night, weekend and public holiday trading.
