The Role

Eaton CC is seeking passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teachers to join our vibrant college. Suitable applicants will ideally foster collaborative and inclusive classroom environments, and engage students of varying abilities, to help ensure every learner thrives.

You will plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the Western Australian Curriculum, employing contemporary teaching methods that cater to diverse learning needs. Your contributions will extend beyond the classroom, actively collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes. You should ideally have a commitment to ongoing professional development, as you will reflect on your teaching effectiveness and adapt your methods in alignment with best practices.

Suitable applicants should be committed to promoting Mathematics and encouraging student engagement in a supportive environment where success is celebrated. Experience in delivering Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) and General courses is highly desirable, but not essential.

Mobility appointments for permanent, metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.

  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
