Locum GP

We are offering a fantastic GP role within a supportive and collaborative network, serving a diverse patient population of approximately 40,000 individuals in the central Leicester area. Role Overview:

1. Sessions: Up to 7 per week across 3 weekdays, including half a day on Saturdays
2. Session Details: 3-hour AM/PM sessions with 10-15-minute appointments (15 patients + 3 catch up slots p/session). Start/Finish times flexible.
3. Flexibility: No home visits are required, and only self-generated admin is expected.
4. Locations: To provide varied experience, sessions will be split across multiple sites within a 5-mile radius. A set rota will be provided once the role is confirmed, ensuring clear scheduling and consistency. Inductions will be conducted at each site for familiarity and support.
5. Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension. Ideal start in April but flexible for earlier start if required.
6. Pay: £80/hour - £95/hour depending on experience.
7. Training and Support: A thorough induction will be provided on the first day by GP Partner/Lead, ensuring a comprehensive introduction to the network's systems and operations. They will also serve as a supervisor throughout the assignment, offering continued support and guidance. Additionally, three of the practices are training practices, ensuring access to relevant clinical materials and professional development opportunities.
