Position Overview

This practice is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join their dynamic team. This role offers flexibility, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to work in a practice that values professional growth and patient-centred care.

Qualifications & Experience

• Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is desirable but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written English.
• Strong commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
• Sound clinical knowledge, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to delivering patient-centred, high-quality care. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• We welcome expressions of interest from both VR and non-VR doctors, including overseas-trained practitioners.
• Supervision may be available for the right candidate.

Additional Information for International Applicants

• Hold a primary medical qualification comparable to Australian standards.
• Be eligible for AHPRA registration, via one of the recognised pathways (Competent Authority Pathway, Standard Pathway, or Specialist Pathway).
• Meet the English language proficiency requirements set by AHPRA (e.g. IELTS or OET tests with required scores, unless exempt).
• Obtain Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification, where applicable.
• Secure an appropriate work visa, such as the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482).
• Hold medical indemnity insurance, as required for all practicing doctors in Australia.
• Be willing to work under supervision, if not currently vocationally registered.

Salary Information

$150,000 - $350,000 per annum.
