Tradesperson Boilermaker

Overview

Applications are open for Boilermakers to join the Maintenance Department at Nyrstar Port Pirie. This is a residential role, based in Port Pirie, South Australia working on a 5/4 day night roster.

Relocation to Port Pirie is part of the package, which encompasses relocation of household belongings, temporary accommodation upon arrival, and a relocation allowance of $5k to assist with moving expenses.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for breakdown repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance activities to all equipment and plant on site.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Relevant Trade Qualification (minimum Certificate III)
• Heavy industry, mining, smelting or similar experience is highly regarded
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure whilst being a team player
• Additional qualifications in Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Confined Space and Working at Heights are also regarded
