About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Qualified Gardener with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-standard gardening services at our Illawarra sites.

Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator in a full-time capacity, you will perform garden maintenance and general property upkeep at our IRT Illawarra locations.

Your Responsibilities May Include
  • Garden rounds, lawn care, and general maintenance
  • Leaf removal, pruning, and weeding
  • Application of fertilizers and mulch
  • Plant selection and planting
  • Safe and correct use of all equipment
  • Plant and machinery maintenance
  • Ad hoc property and asset maintenance
To Be Successful, You Will Have
  • Current Class C Unrestricted Driver's License
  • Trades Certificate and valid Contractor License
  • Extensive experience in a trades role
  • Experience in providing safe, quality, sustainable, and timely maintenance services
  • Personal values of integrity, respect, and trust
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve issues and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Satisfactory physical fitness as determined by an independent functional assessment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoons, weekends, and after-hours emergency call-outs
  • Willingness to travel across IRT facilities within the region
