As a Community Care Worker with us, you'll be part of a caring and dedicated team that prioritises the well-being of Seniors in our community. Your role will involve providing essential support and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
We are currently seeking a part time (up to 25 hrs per week) qualified Community Care Worker. We will consider casual employment options.

The RoleThis role involves visiting clients in their own homes and is required for Bomaderry, Nowra, Culburra, Callala and surrounding areas, supporting clients with community access, or engaging in various individual and group activities at our respite facilities. Services may include:
- Personal care such as assisting with showering, other personal support and providing medication assistance
- Shopping and meal preparation, assist with light housekeeping
- Respite and social support, share common interests and provide companionship
- Community Access
- Reliable and trustworthy
- An effective communicator
- Compassionate with a positive attitude
- Eager to learn and willing to embark on further training and development offered
- Enjoy providing a quality service with a focus on attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus
- Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
- First Aid Certificate
- Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Assist with Clients Medication certification or willingness to attain
- Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
- Copy of uncertified driving record
- Current car registration & comprehensive insurance
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Available to work 5 days - Monday - Friday
BCR Communities is a family friendly and flexible employer with a wide variety of shifts available. Preferably you will be available over 5 days, Monday to Friday and available to work a mixture of mornings from 7am and afternoons/evenings to 7pm.
