Overview

Cleaner role at South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) – join to apply for the Cleaner position at SMHS.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services, including the State Rehabilitation Service, cancer centre, mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services across a catchment area of more than 3300 square kilometres in the southern half of Perth.

In this role you will perform high standard cleaning and support services in clinical and non-clinical areas, including waste and linen removal and movement of equipment and materials, in line with cleaning procedures, infection control and aesthetic standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high standard cleaning and support services in clinical and non-clinical areas.
  • Remove waste and linen; move equipment and materials as required.
  • Operate in accordance with relevant cleaning procedures, policies, infection control and aesthetic standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • The role requires ability to perform cleaning duties in a health-care setting and comply with infection control standards.
  • Applicants must meet visa/citizenship requirements for the role as noted by WA Health.
