Personal Care Worker for Aged Care and Disability Support

Casual in-home care provider Right at Home Brisbane North and South seeks qualified Personal Care Workers to deliver high-quality services.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team as a Personal Care Worker.

About the Role

You will provide assistance with daily living tasks, social activities, and community access, demonstrating empathy and respect for clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transportation and shopping support
  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Companionship and social interaction
  • Meal preparation and nutrition support

Requirements

  • Availability Monday - Friday, with possibility of weekend work
  • Minimum 25 hours per week available
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability, or home and community care is essential
  • Familiarity with person-centred care principles and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to different shifts, including weekends and evenings
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Current National Police Check
  • Updated First Aid and CPR Certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Blue Card
