Job Description

At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavors and the power of food to bring people together. As our Senior Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Your responsibilities include aiding in the training and development of the kitchen team, supporting the Head Cook in managing inventory and maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in a kitchen or cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
  • Leadership and team development experience
  • Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
  • Good understanding of food safety standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
