The Product Manager - Issuing plays a critical role in the success of Novatti's card issuing business. This role leads the full product lifecycle for card issuing services, including ideation, delivery, optimisation, and support. As a subject matter expert in card issuing, you'll bring deep industry knowledge and a strong client focus to deliver seamless, compliant, and scalable card program solutions that meet both regulatory requirements and client objectives.

Importantly, in this role, you will:

  • Own the full lifecycle of Novatti's card issuing products, from discovery to launch, optimisation and retirement.
  • Define and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, regulatory needs and market opportunities.
  • Translate insights from clients, partners and internal teams into clear product priorities.
  • Set and track KPIs to measure performance, efficiency, adoption and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver go-to-market plans that position Novatti's issuing products as scalable, secure and client-focused.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams and Leaders to ensure all releases are purposeful, compliant and deliver real value to clients and the business.
  • Act as an SME and play a leadership role in any strategic projects in the issuing product portfolio

Client Support & Market Insight

  • Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams on Novatti's issuing capabilities and platform architecture.
  • Gather and synthesise feedback to inform product enhancements and priorities.
  • Monitor market and regulatory trends to keep Novatti competitive and future-ready.

Product Delivery & Development

  • Own the continuous improvement and performance of Novatti's issuing platform, ensuring it meets client needs, supports strategic goals and adapts to market and regulatory changes.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery, with operational, compliance, UX/UI and scheme requirements embedded in every release.
  • Drive ongoing improvements to tools, processes and documentation to support scale and efficiency.

Cross-Functional & Scheme Management

  • Collaborate across internal teams including Technology, Legal, Compliance & Risk and Marketing to ensure smooth delivery and alignment.
  • Manage key external relationships such as scheme partners, vendors and service providers.
  • Support vendor selection, contract negotiations and ongoing service performance.

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track platform and product performance using defined KPIs and metrics.
  • Use data and client insights to guide future enhancements and improve overall user experience.

  • 5–10 years' product management experience in issuing, fintech, or digital payments
  • Experience with Visa and/or Mastercard schemes
  • Deep knowledge of card issuing, scheme requirements, and compliance frameworks
  • Proven track record owning full product lifecycles and setting strategic roadmaps
  • Strong client focus with the ability to turn needs into meaningful features
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator across technical and commercial teams
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define and act on key metrics
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and scalable solutions
