At the Central Australian Women's Legal Service (CAWLS), we support women and families across Central Australia and the Barkly Region. Our new Youth Lawyer role is part of an innovative education-based legal initiative — delivered in schools and remote communities.

You'll join a diverse, values-led legal team making a real difference for young people experiencing legal disadvantage.

What You'll Need

  • Eligible to hold a Northern Territory Practising Certificate
  • Experience (or interest) in youth, family, or community law
  • Passion for working in schools or non-traditional settings
  • Understanding of DFSV, First Nations and CALD communities
  • Strong communicator, team player, and trauma-informed mindset
