We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team at Thomas More College in Salisbury Downs, South Australia. As a permanent part-time employee, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong attention to detail. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of school facilities, including classrooms, corridors, and amenities
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and furniture
  • Empty trash and recycling bins
  • Dust and polish floors and surfaces
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to management
Requirements
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Available to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and supplies
