General Dentist

Role Description: Periodontist, Educator, Entrepreneur & Innovator. Striving to deliver quality health care in regional pockets of Australia.

This is a full-time on-site General Dentist role located in Ayr, Far North QLD, 50 mins drive to Townsville. The General Dentist will be responsible for conducting dental exams, diagnosing oral diseases, creating treatment plans, performing dental procedures, and maintaining patient records. The dentist will also provide patient education regarding oral care and disease prevention. Mentoring will be provided and you will have well experienced support staff to work with.

• Conduct dental exams and diagnose oral diseases
• Create comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform dental procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide patient education on oral care and disease prevention
• Collaborate with mentoring staff and support team

• Current dental license in the state of Queensland
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
• Experience in restorative and preventative dental care
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in the dental field
• Bachelor of Dental Science or equivalent degree
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
