What's the role?

As a Personal Banker with Westpac, you will proactively engage with customers in-person and over the phone to uncover their financial needs, using your product knowledge to help them achieve their financial goals. You will refer customers to specialist banking teams such as Home Loans and Business Banking, and coach customers on our digital banking offerings. This role blends sales and customer service and holds accountability for sales and referral targets, with a strong focus on empowering customers to make the most of their money.

This is a full-time, branch-based role operating Monday to Friday.

What do I need?
  • Mandarin language capability
  • Banking experience is ideal but not essential – your high-performer energy and ability to build strong customer relationships will be key
  • Strong experience in a customer-facing or phone-based sales role
  • Resilience, tenacity, and an ability to adapt – no two days or customers are the same
  • Proven experience of achieving performance KPIs with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable with numbers and adept at navigating multiple systems
