We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team on a 9-month contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role supports procurement transformation projects, focusing on driving rebates, improving Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting, and enhancing cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender Management: Support all phases of the tender process, including templates, proposal evaluation, and scenario modeling for negotiations.
- Data Management: Organise, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of procurement datasets.
- Reporting: Prepare performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct market share and scenario analyses, as well as ad-hoc financial modeling.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement activities and enhance reporting on KPIs.
- Contract & Category Management: Understand supplier contracts, identify cost-saving opportunities, and analyse procurement categories.
- Collaboration: Work closely with category managers, the Head of Procurement, and external suppliers to align strategies with business objectives.
Skills, Attributes, and Experience:
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or procurement team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in data warehousing and industries like Veterinary, Retail, Franchising, or Health.
