This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to drive strategic procurement initiatives and optimise supply chain processes within a dynamic and innovative business environment.

About the Role

As a Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to deliver cost savings, ensure compliance, and drive sustainable business outcomes. You will lead end-to-end procurement processes, cultivate strong supplier relationships, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans across various categories, including technology, facilities management, operations, marketing, and corporate services.
  • Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Align category strategies with overall business goals while mitigating supply chain risks.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and innovation.
  • Lead supplier selection, RFP, and negotiation processes to secure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and report on category performance metrics, ensuring cost-effective procurement.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in procurement category management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management. Technology category experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a track record of driving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Experience in contract management and financial accountability within procurement.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, policies, and compliance regulations.
