Job Description

About the role :

As a Senior Site Supervisor overseeing Remedial & Façade projects, you'll be responsible for the successful and safe delivery of high-quality construction projects, ensuring they meet all deadlines and specifications. You will manage the on-site activities of subcontractors, ensuring their performance aligns with project objectives, and maintain close oversight of all aspects of the project to ensure the highest standards are met.

Desired Skills And Experience

Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing site operations and coordinating subcontractors
• Overseeing project delivery to ensure alignment with scope, quality, and schedule
• Ensuring strict compliance with all project specifications, drawings, and standards
• Addressing any challenges or disputes with subcontractors to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining effective communication with clients, managing their expectations throughout the project
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal safety and performance
• A deep understanding of high-risk work, with a strong focus on safety and quality
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• A comprehensive knowledge of construction legislation, regulations, and standards
• A thorough understanding of safety processes and procedures relating to high-risk work
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, scopes of work, and specifications
• Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively coach and motivate site teams
• Proven experience managing subcontractor relationships and resolving issues collaboratively
• Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and an understanding of construction programming
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  
  

Education & Experience

• A trade qualification or a building-related qualification
• 5+ years of experience supervising and managing remedial construction projects, including planning, programming, and managing subcontractors
• Senior First Aid certification
• Construction Safety Induction (white) card
• Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (highly desirable)
