About the role

T he Renal Ambulatory Care (RAC) department is made up of acute haemodialysis, satellite dialysis and peritoneal dialysis home training.

You will be pivotal in supporting our clinical team, patients and their families.

The unit is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator, Renal Nurse Practitioner, Renal Transplant CNC, Peritoneal Dialysis CNC and Renal Supportive Care CNC.

You will be expected to work towards gaining an extended scope of practice to provide nursing care to patients receiving haemodialysis in the outpatient setting.

RAC is in operation Monday to Saturday, 07:00 - 21:30.

About you

Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse medication endorsed with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

A minimum of two year's Enrolled Nurse experience within a hospital environment.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
