An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Assistant Commercial Property Manager to join a unique business and small dynamic team. Costa Asset Management is a family-owned private investment firm. Its activities include managing and growing a diversified investment portfolio including a diversified Commercial Property portfolio. In this 10-month parental leave cover role, you will support the Senior Commercial Property Manager as required on a Part Time onsite basis working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.30am to 5pm.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Tending to all client-focused requirements by communicating with landlords, tenants, tradespersons

Assisting the Senior Commercial Property Manager with all aspects of Fire Services & Essential Safety Measures

Conducting regular inspections of the entire building, including all common areas and plant rooms

Managing all aspects of repairs and maintenance requirements and implementation of preventative maintenance programs, including management of service contracts & providers

Using Re-Leased to manage all work orders and maintenance requirements from start to finish

Creating new files and ensuring all documentation is stored and filed appropriately, in Re-Leased

General office duties, including management of the key register and writing meeting minutes

Processing Rent Reviews & communications and recording in Re-Leased

Arrears management

All ad hoc tasks as requested by Senior Commercial Property Manager or finance or legal teams

Assisting in updating the monthly and quarterly management reports as required

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will be a reliable self-starter who can jump in and be productive immediately and have a demonstrated ability to take control of your schedule and meet deadlines. You must be able to demonstrate confidentiality and discretion and be a friendly and confident communicator capable of maintaining relationships.

THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED ALREADY

3+ years previous commercial experience

Relevant qualifications and a current Agent's Representative Certificate are mandatory

Valid Driver's license

Have a recent (or willing to undertake) Police Check and appropriate Credit Check

Highly developed Microsoft Office suite skills

Knowledge of Xero and Re-Leased Property Management software or similar
