Position: Architect/Experienced Graduate

Location: Rockhampton, Central Queensland

Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

About Us: BEAT Architects is a well-established, regional architectural practice based in Rockhampton, Central Queensland. For over 30 years, we've been delivering a diverse range of projects, from residential homes and schools to hospitals and shopping centres. Our team of ten, including seven technical staff, prides itself on providing variety and achieving rapid project turnover.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative, sustainable design solutions.
  • Lead and manage project teams through all project phases, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met.
  • Prepare and produce technical drawings and documentation.
  • Work closely with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project construction.
  • Manage and maintain client relationships, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Participate in business development activities, including networking and marketing our services.
Qualifications
  • Registered Architect or experienced Graduate of Architecture (minimum 8 years' experience in Australia).
  • Proficient in REVIT or ArchiCAD documentation.
  • Experience in commercial architecture is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects across all phases.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Understanding of local BCA, standards and regulations.
  • A White Card is desirable.
  • Be honest and display integrity
  • Possess a car and drivers licence
