Are you a recent graduate with an interest in solving real-world problems through digital technology? Join Doghouse for a 6-month paid graduate program where you'll gain practical experience as a Business Analyst (BA) in a fast-paced software agency environment.

What does a BA do in a digital agency?

Business Analysts help bridge the gap between users, clients and development teams. They dig into problems, define requirements and make sure digital products meet real needs. In our agency, BAs work across product development, client delivery and client support, translating ideas into working solutions. They also collaborate closely with designers to visualise user interfaces and ensure solutions are both functional and intuitive.

About the program

This structured, paid program runs over six months and gives you hands-on experience across three key areas of the business:

1.Product Development

• Write user stories, testing steps, and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to product documentation
• Collaborate with designers to review and shape UI/UX

2.Client Delivery Projects

• Support discovery activities to understand business and user needs
• Help define functional requirements from designs
• Work closely with developers and designers to bring solutions to life

3.Client Support

• Review feature and design requests
• Work with support and dev teams to clarify issues
• Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and tools

You'll be part of our Design Services team, but work closely with a cross-functional crew of designers, developers, product managers and project managers.

What we're looking for

We're after a curious and motivated graduate who brings:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in tech, UX, digital systems or design
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• A solid understanding of how digital products work
• An interest in solving business problems through smart digital solutions
• Confidence in writing clear documentation and breaking down complexity
• Ability to communicate ideas visually (e.g. in Figma or similar tools)
• A desire to understand the bigger picture and contribute meaningfully
• Familiarity with CMSs and a willingness to develop expertise in this area (not essential)
