Oracle Technical Architect

Our client in Australia is looking for Application Architect - Azure; this is a 12+ MONTHS FTC.

Overview

Role: Oracle Technical Architect with focus on Oracle DB architecture and Azure/cloud integrations.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on Oracle DB architecture expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle 11gR2, 12c, and 19c, particularly on Exadata platforms (X7 or later).
  • Expertise in RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and multitenancy, with proven performance tuning skills.
  • Experience architecting solutions on Exadata X9/X11 and cloud platforms (Azure, OCI).
  • Familiarity with Azure networking, security, and governance models.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence architectural decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle licensing and cost optimization strategies (preferred).
