The Role
As the Level 1 Laboratory Technician, you will assist in the preparation of routine chemicals and equipment, as well as the construction of simple apparatus for science classes. You will work under supervision, displaying excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Your responsibilities will include managing supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and conducting basic repairs and maintenance on science equipment. Experience in labelling and storing laboratory chemicals, equipment, and resources is ideal, along with knowledge of appropriate methods for the disposal of chemical, physical, and biological materials in the laboratory.
