About the Role
In this casual role, you'll be supporting individuals with a disability in a warm and welcoming Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. Assisting with daily routines, promoting independence, and empowering customers to achieve their personal goals. Flexible shifts are available, including sleepovers, weekends, and split shifts. Perfect for fitting work around your lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care, housekeeping, and daily tasks

• Support mealtime routines and dietary needs, including PEG feeding

• Administer medication in line with care plans and training

• Perform manual handling, including hoisting

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies

• Maintain accurate records and reports

What We're Looking For:

• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities

• Experience working in disability or a similar support role

Requirements

• Valid drivers licence (P2 or open class)

• Senior First Aid and CPR certificate

• NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)

• Blue card (working with children check)
