An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Electrical Technician to join Iluka's North Capel Operation, based in the South West.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator, the primary purpose of this role is to provide continuous maintenance support to ensure optimum availability of plant and equipment is enabled to meet production targets.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

1. Prioritising and completing work tasks under limited supervision
2. Providing information, technical support and carrying out requests of the Maintenance Coordinator
3. Identifying and providing written feedback of work required as a result of maintenance, monitoring and inspections
4. Demonstrating a high level of fault-finding skills
5. Demonstrating a commitment to safety

To be successful for this role, you will have:

1. Electrical Workers licence and Instrumentation qualifications
2. Previous experience in an industrial or mining environment
3. Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
4. Strong communication skills, motivation to work within a team, and high attention to detail
5. Ability to adhere to environmental, OH&S, and company standards and policies
