What You'll Do

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, protecting, and continuously improving the security of our global systems and infrastructure. This includes:

  • Managing Security Operations: Monitor and manage daily security activities, identifying threats and vulnerabilities across our environment.
  • Automating Security Tasks: Use scripting (primarily Python and PowerShell) to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents.
  • Analyzing and Mitigating Risks: Conduct detailed analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities, developing practical mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in IT, engineering, and business units, embedding security best practices.
  • Incident Response: Lead incident response activities, coordinating with global teams to investigate, contain, and resolve security incidents.

  • Pragmatic Thinker: Logical and practical solutions to complex security challenges.
  • Automation-Minded: Skilled in automating security operations using Python and PowerShell, with strong familiarity in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Hands-On Security Experience: Background in security engineering or DevOps, with proven experience in monitoring, incident response, and risk management.
  • Technically Curious: Interested in security technologies related to network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessment, and log management.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Clear and effective communication, comfortable working across diverse teams.
