Our Infrastructure team has been helping the largest infrastructure clients across Australia with their complex projects. We have a new role for a Project Control Lead Commercial and Finance to help our Infrastructure and Energy projects in Sydney, who can lead the teams across the full lifecycle of project through excellent interface management and stakeholder management.

Job Description
Partner with the Cost and Planning to establish a collaborative process to provide accurate and integrated change, schedule, cost and risk data to allow effective Performance Controls including the provision of easily accessible reports to advise on performance, progress and mitigating actions.

  • Effectively communicate schedule performance against baseline, through reporting and presenting.
  • Support the integration of cost and risk information to report integrated project performance and align to Client's objectives.
  • Work with the project's stakeholders in the production of validated performance, earned value and percentage completion reports monthly.
  • Accountable for the accurate assessment of Forecast final Cost and impact of events on project timescales, ensuring that earned value techniques and indices are correctly implemented.
  • Compare and analyse trends against the original cost estimates and budgets. Identify opportunities to bring costs in line with estimates and budgets. Also review change proposal estimates as requested, and facilitate provision of an independent estimate for comparison and validation of proposals.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms in delivery of the works for consultants and contractors, processing of payments, managing change.
  • Through coordination of all parties to ensure adherence to expected quality for both the design and construction of the project.
Qualifications
  • Strong Project Controls Experience.
  • Transmission Line project experience is preferable.
  • Contractor management.
  • Contract administration.
  • Stakeholder coordination and consultation.
  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starters required who can quickly learn the project delivery particulars of the client with minimal supervision.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to contribute to the wider team beyond their assigned project.
  • Highly proficient communication skills that will allow swift establishment of positive relationships with the client's staff across numerous departments for each project assigned.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
