The Electrical Drafting Coordinator you will manage all aspects of the electrical design and drawing process across a wide array of projects including locomotive upgrades, Schneider PLC upgrades, High Voltage RMU upgrades, general arrangements and everything in-between

In this role you will utilize your drafting expertise and people management skills to ensure the smooth execution of drafting projects. Serving as a vital link between stakeholders, you'll facilitate communication, coordinate tasks and uphold quality standards. With your guidance, our team will navigate complex projects with ease, delivering outstanding results while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Based in Townsville, this role will involve traveling to various locations within tropical North Queensland, allowing you to fully engage in the intricacies of electrical design projects from inception to completion.

  • Accuracy Matters - Conduct audits of site drawings to ensure compliance and precision.

Your Winning Combination

Our ideal candidate will hold qualifications in an electrical trade or equivalent and will showcase proficiency in the use of AutoCAD software. Experience in leading or coordinating projects and people, along with a keen eye for detail is highly valuable in this role. While possession of relevant tertiary qualifications is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Ideally you will have had previous exposure to the electrical or heavy industry sectors.
