About the Role

The Centre Manager is the heartbeat of Vortex Entertainment. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring every guest has a safe, exciting, and memorable experience. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets and rosters, leading a diverse team, and upholding our values.

  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff at all times.
  • Operational Management: Manage all operational aspects, including budgeting, rostering, and maintaining high standards across all divisions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service and embody Vortex values.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle conflict resolution with a calm and professional approach.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador and salesperson, promoting Vortex to the local community and beyond.
  • Strategy and Innovation: Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed revenue targets.
  • Event Planning: Oversee special events, school programs, and corporate team-building activities.
  • Flexibility: Work weekends and during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need to be:

  • Detail-Oriented: Be detail-oriented with strong operational and time management skills.
  • Budgeting and Rostering: Have a solid understanding of budgeting and rostering.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Be a natural problem solver with the ability to handle issues quickly and appropriately.
  • Sales and Marketing: Have a flair for sales and marketing, with the ability to promote the Vortex brand.
  • Passion for Fun and Safety: Be passionate about creating a fun and safe environment for guests of all ages.
