
Practice Assistant

We are currently seeking a proactive Practice Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution team in Perth. This opportunity will provide variety in your day-to-day and is being offered on a part-time, permanent basis working 3 days per week. In this role you will support Partner, Sam Dundas and his team.

Responsibilities- Building and maintaining client and internal relationships
- Coordinating meetings and arranging travel
- Managing calendars and inboxes
- Billing, expense management and reporting
- Matter management including opening and closing files, archiving, electronic filing, and physical filing
- Other general administrative tasks
- Minimum of 2 years in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, Legal Executive or Legal Secretary)
- Sound knowledge of the monthly billing process in a legal environment - experience with Elite highly regarded
- Typing speed of 70+ wpm
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
