Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain cleanliness of the Service Desk/Kiosk.
  3. Present a neat, well-groomed appearance.
  4. Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by supervision.
  5. Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
  6. Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep work areas safe.
  7. Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
  8. Perform price checks and record discrepancies.
  9. Control store supply usage.
  10. Verify customer IDs and adhere to store policies on check acceptance, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
  11. Manage cash registers securely and process transactions accurately, including cash, checks, electronic payments, and other accepted forms.
  12. Maintain security standards and report suspicious activity.
  13. Use and maintain equipment properly and report malfunctions.
  14. Ensure store cleanliness and sanitation per regulations.
  15. Recognize and differentiate produce merchandise.
  16. Perform cashier and service associate duties as needed.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Minimum age requirements met for specific tasks.
  • Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical skills.
  • Ability to perform technical requirements of the job.
Prerequisite Training

Completed Cashier/Service Associate training packet.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand continuously; occasional walking.
  • Handle currency and operate equipment.
  • Bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent reaching and grasping.
  • Sufficient visual acuity for ID and document checks.
Preferred Requirements
  • Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
  • Record purchases accurately.
  • Handle refunds and transactions per policy.
  • Meet physical activity standards.
  • Follow AML guidelines for certain financial transactions.
