We represent a leading provider of construction, infrastructure and facility services in Australia.
This role is an upshot of the company's growth, as they are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join their front-end and transactional focused sub-team.
The Role
You will be reporting directly to Senior Legal Counsel and ultimately to the Head of Front-End Transactions.
Your key responsibilities will include providing transactional legal support on the company's bids and tenders across various projects and industries such as major social infrastructure, energy including renewables, utilities, and telecommunications.
In addition, you will provide legal assistance to project governance initiatives and report to project governance bodies/forums where necessary.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will most likely have 3 to 7 years' post-admission experience in front-end construction from a top law firm or leading construction company.
Key skills required for the role include:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with legal and other professionals and clients as necessary.
- Superior analytical and drafting skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients.
- Capacity to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Ambition with a desire to excel your career.
