We are looking for compassionate and reliable Home Support Workers to assist and support individuals in the comfort of their own homes

InHome Care SA is a South Australian organisation providing care and support to older people in their own homes and in the community.

We provide a wholistic approach to care and services and our Home Support Workers play a key role. Care and delivery varies according to the needs and goals of clients and includes a wide range of personal care, to household assistance (light cleaning) and also social support activities

Due to continuing program expansion, we are looking for Home Support Workers with and without Certificate III in Aged /Individual Support, who show sincere empathy, and respect for older people, hold a high level of integrity, are flexible and have good organisational skills to assist and provide support to our clients living in their own homes across metropolitan Adelaide. These roles will assist our clients with personal care (Cert III) , medication management (Cert III) Light housework/cleaning, meal preparation social activities etc

In addition, we love people who are helpful by nature, efficient and positive enthusiastic team members

Many of our existing clients are members of the Greek Community and English is their second language, so candidates for this position will need to demonstrate clear verbal and written skills.

Essential skills for this role are:

· Certificate III Aged Care/Individual Support (If applying for the HSW Certified Role)

· A demonstrated Commitment to high quality service provision

· The Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and problem solve

· A Current driver's licence, own fully insured vehicle, and willingness to travel

· A current First Aid and CPR certificate

Desirable Skills and experience:

· Proven experience in a similar role with a minimum 12 months is ideal

· The ability to work autonomously

· Familiarity with Aged Care, Community care, Disability Care or a Health Care/Customer service setting

· In interest in supporting Clients with dementia (Advantageous)

· Fluency in Greek and/or Italian (Highly Advantageous)

· Willingness to work Weekends and Evenings (Highly Advantageous)
