Job Description

We are seeking a Hydraulic BIM Technician to join our Building Services discipline, supporting our success locally and nationally.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the building services industry as a hydraulic design drafter/modeller and a desire to develop their design skills in this exciting role.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Produce hydraulic services designs drawings and models to current Australian standards and authority codes.
  • Ensure accurate drawings and models are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working within the building services industry as a hydraulic design drafter.
  • Solid knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and other software is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail when modelling and producing drawings for accuracy and presentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and building regulations.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and complete drawings and models from a design brief.
  • Ability to conduct client meetings and on-site measures if requested.
  • Excellent commercial construction knowledge is imperative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.

You will be great with people and experienced in all facets of the design process throughout.
