About the role:

We're seeking a highly skilled People & Culture Coordinator to drive our People, Culture & Safety strategy and contribute to initiatives that foster a positive workforce culture. This pivotal role will provide administrative, technical, and project support to our People, Culture & Safety team.

As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will:
  • Support People & Culture processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
  • Assist with policy reviews and updates, learning initiatives, and wellbeing programs
  • Manage the HR email inbox, respond to team inquiries, and escalate complex issues
  • Coordinate training calendars and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to projects, policy reviews, and process improvements.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • Relevant qualifications and/or a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role or providing HRIS technical support.
  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Great attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (experience with ELMO (HRIS) is not essential, but desired).
  • A collaborative, people-first mindset and a commitment to service excellence
  • Strong work ethic and work history that would evidence commitment to Ageing Australia values and a genuine passion for aged care.
