The Field Application Engineer is a customer focused technical professional who is passionate about ensuring that all aspects of our customers experience and journey to scale, is both simple and awesome. This position is based at the Myriota Head Office in Adelaide, South Australia with hybrid working arrangements.

Myriota's patented, direct-to-satellite technology delivers secure, affordable, low-maintenance connectivity to sectors including agriculture, environmental monitoring, transport, logistics, maritime, and defence. We are experiencing hypergrowth and are recruiting top-tier talent to lead our next phase.

• Become a demonstrated expert in system-wide understanding, use and debugging of the system spanning edge devices, module and hardware integration, network system (protocol and satellite infrastructure), cloud and data/system visualization
• Offer timely and effective technical support both remotely and on-site across a range of complexity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues as required
• Support sales efforts by addressing technical questions and contributing to tailored solutions and proposals
• Develop, deliver and maintain customer support materials including deployment & migration guides, engineering guides (battery estimator, API, antenna design, datasheets) and support site content
• Deliver training sessions
• Conduct product installation as required
• Conduct rigorous testing of products in real-world scenarios, providing feedback for ongoing product development

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is desirable
• Knowledge of electronics and firmware development; ability to read schematics
• Field experience with installation, failure modes, and connector types
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-centric with a demonstrable passion for engineering
• Strong technical acumen with experience in coding, hardware integration, and understanding of edge-to-cloud tools, visualization and tooling
• Familiarity with sensors and their interfaces
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows development environments
• Understanding of wireless network challenges
