Starburst Insights is an award-winning boutique research agency based in Melbourne. We work with some of Australia's most exciting brands across a mix of industries (including beauty, media, retail, FMCG, financial services and property).

An exciting opportunity has come up to join our supportive and passionate team, at a Project Manager / Consultant level.

What you will be doing…

This is a role for someone with 2-5 years research agency experience, with a background in quantitative research (bonus if you also have qualitative research experience) and a keen interest in beauty and wellbeing.

Reporting to an Associate Director, you will be working closely with our talented, hands-on team and involved in all that we do, including:

• Day to day project management of a variety of project types (including a dynamic large-scale project, along with diverse ad hoc projects)
• Designing questionnaires and research tasks & activities
• Running data analysis in Q, and creating engaging outcome-focused deliverables
• Building and maintain strong relationships with our clients

Who we are looking for…

To be considered for the role, you must have / be:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business / Psychology / Social Sciences / Marketing etc.)
• Approximately 2-5 years' experience in a research agency
• Solid knowledge of Q, Excel and PowerPoint and foundation market research principles
• Excellent attention to detail and high service delivery standards
• Super organised with an ability to multi-task and 'own' a project end-to-end
• Excellent numerical, literacy and communication skills
• An enthusiastic contributor who takes pride in what you do
• Able to work hybrid (with approx. 3 days in our fabulous new Abbotsford office)
• Interest and knowledge in the beauty category
