What We Are Looking ForApplications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, Emerald. This is a full-time contract position to commence as soon as able until 18 January 2026, with the possibility of a permanent teaching position from 2026.
Applications are welcome from anyone who would support the school's ethos and possess the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
- Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
- Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities within the diocese of Rockhampton
St Patrick's School educates children from Prep to Year Six. It is a co-educational facility serving Emerald and surrounding districts. Our aim is to develop academic excellence and personal growth centered around Christian faith, fostering relationships and curriculum within our community.
Mandatory Requirements- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
