About the Role

  • Permanent, Full Time

Work as a Trainer in Nursing and pass on your knowledge, wisdom and experience to the next generation of passionate healthcare workers. Join our Diploma of Nursing Academic team and make a long-lasting, meaningful impact to students.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide services as a trainer according to the curriculum requirements.
  • Provide a high quality of teaching service to students who are enrolled in the Diploma of Nursing.
  • Ensure that effective learning is taking place in the classroom under your instruction and supervision and provide appropriate feedback to students.
  • Actively pursue and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and to stay abreast of current and emerging principles and practices.

About you:

  • Current Registered Nurse with no undertakings.
  • Successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing or higher.
  • Successfully completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience in being a trainer and assessor in the Diploma of Nursing (desirable).
  • Experience writing content and assessments (desirable).
