Overview

Production Supervisor role at George Weston Foods (Tip Top Bakeries) based at Ermington, NSW. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a safe and efficient manner.



Responsibilities
  • Lead the production team to ensure efficient, safe operation of product and minimisation of waste
  • Build a culture where people act like owners to deliver business goals
  • Provide open, candid feedback in the moment, recognise great work, and address performance issues early
  • Manage clear expectations for the team, provide appropriate resources and tools to get the job done, with high support and high challenge
  • Identify and actively promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systems
  • Collaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and amend the production plan as needed
  • Ensure strict food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to
  • Support change and foster an environment where change is embraced


About You / Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years in a Supervisory or leadership role
  • FMCG or other fast-paced production/manufacturing experience would be highly regarded
  • Extensive problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
  • Proven leadership skills
