About the role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic Townsville-based team for 3 days per week. This casual position is based in the heart of the Townsville CBD, where you'll work with the Operations Manager to carry out a wide range of property maintenance tasks. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our properties are well-presented, safe, and operating smoothly, reflecting our commitment to quality and service.

CORE DUTIES

  • Attending to general repairs and maintenance
  • Completing daily task requests efficiently and professionally
  • Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers as required
  • Conducting routine property inspections and identifying maintenance needs
  • Providing prompt support in response to urgent maintenance issues
  • Maintaining accurate records of completed work and materials used
  • Assisting contractors with major repairs as needed
  • Allowing access for contractors to site
  • Meter reading
  • Helping with cleaning as required

ABOUT YOU

  • Basic knowledge and experience in maintenance (plumbing, patching and painting, gardening, general maintenance repairs)
  • Fit and able to complete work outdoors
  • Ability to work weekends as needed
  • Ability to work independently
  • Current Australian Drivers License (Manual)
  • Able to prioritise and organise multiple tasks
