About the Role:

As an Educator, you will create and maintain fun, safe, engaging, and inviting learning environments, as well as maintain excellent relationships with families, children, and other team members. You will be required to record children's progress, routines, and interests, as well as ensure compliance with routines, policies, processes, and practices. Our relationships with families and children are of utmost importance to us, and we strive to support our families and children to feel part of our Somerville Cottage family. Our centre prides itself on a warm, friendly atmosphere that has often been referred to as an extension of the home. We aim to provide care that complements and extends home life, supporting families to meet their child's needs to the best of our ability.

What you'll need:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
