What does the job look like?

Linfox's Intermodal business unit is currently seeking multiple HC licenced drivers with long distance driving experience to join their operation based in Oberon NSW. We are also considering applicants based in Orange/Blayney or Sydney. These are day shift roles where you will be delivering timber products between Oberon, Sydney and Newcastle. Shift times will commence from 5am and will work through up until 5pm or as required. Overnight trips may be required as part of this role. Key areas:

• Deliver timber freight between Oberon, Sydney and Newcastle locations
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed
• Comply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
  
  

Are you the one?

• Open HC/MC licence and experience
• Experience delivering timber freight intrastate
• Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction
• History of safe work practices & excellent communication
• Rail experience highly regarded but not essential
