The Role

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies
• Lead quality engineering initiatives across multiple product teams
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices
• Collaborate with development teams on shift-left testing approaches
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools

Technical Implementation

• Develop and maintain robust Playwright test suites
• Create reusable test components and page object models
• Implement data-driven testing approaches
• Build custom testing utilities and helper functions
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines for automated execution

Quality Assurance

• Perform comprehensive testing of web applications and APIs
• Execute regression testing for major releases
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases
• Ensure security testing practices are implemented
• Work closely with Product Managers and Developers
• Provide clear test reporting and quality metrics
• Document test cases, procedures, and known issues
• Present quality insights to stakeholders and leadership

Industry Knowledge

• Financial services or payments industry experience
• E-commerce platform testing experience
• SaaS application quality assurance

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Leadership qualities and mentoring capabilities
• Adaptability to changing technologies and requirements
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Technical Expertise

• 4+ years of proven experience with Playwright test automation framework, with 6+ years in testing with a large focus on automation.
• Experience with API testing and REST/GraphQL services
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing frameworks
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
• Experience with test data managemen and database testing

Quality Engineering

• End-to-end test automation design and implementation
• Performance testing and load testing methodologies
• Accessibility testing knowledge and implementation
