Looking for experienced Insurance Business Analyst with experience working with ANZ-based insurance clients on Guidewire suite of products (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) and exposure to digital solutions, integrations, and data migrations. As a dedicated Guidewire Business Consultant, you will be responsible for business analysis and solution design of large Guidewire transformations. You will also be involved in large transformation and enhancement initiatives within Cognizant.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience across the General Insurance value chain such as Quotation, Policy Issuance, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Reinsurance.
  • Experience delivering Insurance solutions and products.
  • Guidewire experience as a business analyst across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimsCenter.
  • Experience with multiple Insurance products/systems including Agent Portals, Rating Engine, Rule Engine, and relevant platforms, with knowledge of backend policy issuance and claims settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in the Insurance space.
  • Understanding key business parameters.
  • Proven managerial maturity and strong business acumen.
  • Teritary qualification in relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance Guidewire Claim Center aligned with business goals.
  • Implement systems and solutions to grow, optimize, and protect client organizations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand needs and suggest solutions.
  • Document requirements and create artifacts for technical design, testing, and training.
  • Drive project activities including scoping, estimation, tracking, and support.
  • Mentor new analysts on Insurance workflows and functionalities.
  • Assist in project planning and management.

Optional Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Master's in Business Administration or similar.
  • IT and insurance tertiary qualifications preferred.
  • Insurance industry certifications advantageous.

Salary Range: >$100,000
